The present General Conditions of Use determine the rules of access to the present digital educational content site, hereafter referred to as the site.
By using this site, you acknowledge, as a user, that you are aware of the terms, accept them without reservation and comply with them.
The site’s editors reserve the right, at their sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify, delete or add content to these “Terms of Use” at any time, particularly in order to take into account any legal, jurisprudential, editorial and/or technical developments. The version that prevails is the one that is accessible online.
You are therefore advised to refer regularly to the latest version of these General Terms of Use.
ARTICLE 1 – USER USAGE, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The Citizen Code project aims to allow young people to discover the digital world and programming through various free educational resources.
1/ Access to the resources
The activities are permanently available (24/7) using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox on Windows, Ubuntu and Android and using Safari on MacOs and iOs.

In case of technical incident on the application or the site, please send a message directly from the contact form.

Our teams will do their best to answer you and solve the incidents as soon as possible.
3/ Equipment used
The device used must meet the following characteristics to ensure proper use:

Recommended, for optimal performance :

ARTICLE 2 – LICENSE OF USE
Access to this site grants you a non-exclusive, private and/or collective right to use it.
Your use of the site implies unreserved acceptance of these General Conditions of Use.
This use of the site can only be made free of charge and must be in pursuit of educational objectives. Any commercial use of the site and its contents is strictly forbidden.
All content published on the site, including but not limited to texts, photographs, illustrations, graphics, computer graphics, maps, videograms, music, icons, software, hereinafter referred to as “Content”, are likely to constitute works within the meaning of Article L.112-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code or content protected by rights related to copyright within the meaning of Article L.211-1 et seq.
Pursuant to Article L. 122-4 of the Intellectual Property Code, any representation or reproduction in whole or in part without the consent of the author or his successors or assigns is unlawful. It is the same for the translation, adaptation or transformation, arrangement or reproduction by any art or process.
We also remind you that the violation of copyright constitutes an offense of counterfeiting punishable in France by three years imprisonment and a fine of 300,000 euros.
Similarly, the Code of Intellectual Property punishes with three years imprisonment and a fine of 300,000 euros any fixation, reproduction, communication or making available to the public, for a fee or free of charge, or any broadcasting of a performance, a phonogram, a videogram or a program, without the authorization, when required, of the owner of the rights.
Consequently, you agree to :
- download the Contents on your computer only for personal or collective educational use in the classroom;
- not to reproduce the downloaded Contents on any support, in particular printed and digital, provided that the said copies of the Contents are strictly limited to a personal or collective educational use;
- not to represent, disseminate or network, in any form and by any means, the Content outside the site;
- not to adapt, modify, move, alter or remove the Content outside of the aggregation, modification and personalization services offered by the site itself;
- not to alter, modify, move, remove or replace the names of the Site’s Editors and/or the authors of the Content or their assigns and/or any other information relating to the rights of the Editors and/or the authors of the Content or their assigns.
ARTICLE 3 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You are solely responsible for any direct or indirect, material or immaterial damage or harm caused by, based on or originating from the use of the site by you or by any person authorized by you to use this site. By use, it should be understood any use of the site whatsoever, whether fraudulent or not.
As such, you waive any claim or action for such damages, whether based on the contractual liability of the Site’s publishers or any other basis.

The site contains a certain number of hypertext links to other sites (partners, information, etc.). However, the owner of the site does not have the possibility of checking the contents of the sites thus visited and thus declines any responsibility for the possible risks of illicit contents.
ARTICLE 5 – APPLICATION OF FRENCH LAW
The rules applicable to the use of the site and to all the Content and information it contains are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
